The Lake Benton Sportsmen’s Club was organized on February 14, 1952. The goal of the organization is to promote good sportsmanship and for the preservation of fish and wildlife. The club holds its meetings the fourth Wednesday of the month, September-May, in Lake Benton. The annual Ice Fishing Tournament is the last Saturday of January, and the Summer Walleye Tournament is on the first Saturday of June; Annual Wild Game Feed is on the third Saturday in March; and the Annual Meeting (Fish Fry) is the second Saturday in January.
