For Explore Southwest Minnesota Tourism Association

We want everyone who visits the Explore Southwest Minnesota website to feel welcome and find the experience rewarding.

To help make the Explore Southwest Minnesota website a positive experience and to help foster an environment that respects diversity, inclusion, and accessibility, we make continual websites to meet the standards of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) (link), with the goal of achieving 2.0 Level AA for accessibility. Our efforts are ongoing and we strive to ensure that www.exploreswmn.com (link) is accessible to the broadest possible audience.

Measures to Support Accessibility

The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) (link) define requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. It defines three levels of conformance: Level A, Level AA, and Level AAA. Explore Southwest Minnesota is partially conformant with WCAG 2.0 level AA. Partially conformant means that some parts of the content do not fully conform to the accessibility standard.
