Plum Creek park is a 215 acre park located just minutes from historic Walnut Grove, MN. The same Plum Creek that Laura Ingalls Wilder wrote about in her books, runs right through the park. The park also features a large swimming lake, Lake Laura.

The park maintains 64 RV campsites, and 8 primitive campsites and 6 camper cabins. There are 2 trails around the park that allow users to experience the diverse and serene landscape, one around Lake Laura, and another along the banks of Plum Creek.

Special features include Lake Laura, walking and hiking, a unique camp store where you can purchase ice cream snacks, ice, firewood and more, a playground, kayak and paddleboard rental with online reservation, and wireless internet access.
