It is an original playground, designed by school children and fine-tuned by an architect from Leathers, Inc., based in New York. Organizers collected $72,000 in fund-raisers. With donated labors and materials, estimated value is $200,000. Two shelters, also volunteer efforts, were added in 1995 and 1996.
