Another thing our small counties in Southwest Minnesota does really well is the annual county fairs! The array of topics and demonstrations expose attendees to the diversity and cultures of our past as well as the natural environment that is part of our rich history. It is a great way for our local farming communities to show off their best livestock and the community members to show their craftsmanship.
The carnivals, the musical entertainment, and the fair food round out the experience!
